Hope that helps. If you have bought an Affinity app, you will have bought a perpetual license to use that app. You will need to be in the 'Photo Persona' to do this, which is one of the colourful buttons in the top left of Affinity Photo (assuming you are using default layout of Affinity 2 Photo). If you like you may confirm the macro has applied with 'Ctrl+Alt+I'. Crop the image to your liking and click your Macro from your library to apply the resolution. The crop tool should have remembered the 'Custom Ratio' (it doesn't remember 'Resample'). Select the next image you wish to resize. Please note: If you need '768 by 1024(Portrait)' you will need to record and make an additional macro and name it accordingly. and give it a name such as '1024by768(Landscape)' Click the 'Add to Library' button in the macro window. Without doing anything else, stop the recording of the macro with the white square 'stop recording'. Unlink the chain between the two resolutions and type in your desired pixel resolution for each field manually, in your case that is '1024 by 768' and apply the resize. Click the red dot 'start recording' and press 'Ctrl+Alt+I' or 'Document > Resize Document'. Next we resize it and record a macro to automate the resize part of this process.įind the Macro tab, if it isn't shown anywhere, go to 'Window > Macro'. Apply the crop to your image, the resolution may not yet be correct but the aspect ratio will be correct. You can now open a new photo, select the crop tool and the aspect ratio should be recalled. This won't change the resolution yet, but it will make the correct aspect ratio.
